[ “Wonderful Holbox Transfer” ]

From the transfer van from Playa del Carmen to the driver picking up the ferry tickets for us at Chiquila, to the ferry ride to Holbox, and to my amazement, a gentleman holding a sign up with my name on it, completely blew me away, what a great touch. He took us to a taxi which brought us to the front steps of the hotel, wow! On are return, again…. really not sure what to expect, on check out the hotel staff gave us a envelope with money to purchase ferry tickets and to pay for the taxi was a nice touch. Again on the other side, a gentleman waiting for us with a sign with our name again on it to take us to our taxi.
The taxi driver was simply perfect, he asked us if we wanted to hook up our iPod to his car radio so we all listen to music for the ride home and he had no problem taking the toll highway for us, which we paid 97 pesos, worth every sent if you just want to get home.
Thank you again Jorge and Karma Trails for making our Isla Holbox an amazing mini vacation. We’re looking to book a hotel again at the end of February so you’ll probably be hearing from us again.
